Five days of taste, music and entertainment are scheduled from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th September, in the municipal villa Salve D'Esposito in Sorrento, with the initiative “Saporitissimo Sorrento Street Food”. Among the stands, which will be open to the public from 12pm to midnight, an interesting journey through the flavours and knowledge of the South Italy, including tastings of buffalo mozzarella, “impiccato” caciocavallo, fish specialties and many varieties of pasta.
A corner will be dedicated to grilled meat and another to the creation of tasty hamburger sandwiches. There will be no shortage of desserts, with sfogliate, babà, crepes and a wide selection of Sicilian products. The offer is completed by pizza ovens with many toppings. For the little ones, entertainment is guaranteed, from 16 pm to 20 pm, with the animation of jugglers, stilt walkers, clowns and soap bubble shows. In particular, from September 14 to 17, from 17 pm to 20 pm, Bonsai Clown will be a guest, with his magic show.
The music programme is also packed, starting at 21pm. It starts on the 13th (19pm) with Sorrento Folk and their itinerant tarantella, continues on the 14th with the Paranza di Romeo Barbaro, and the tammurriata of peasant culture, on the 15th with the street band Allerija, on September 16th with the group Four Notes. The closing is entrusted to the dj set of Dj Miguel Verlova. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Sorrento and organized by Viva Eventi.
