The Palma Cappuro Cultural Association and the Center for Studies on Neapolitan, Southern and European Theater, with the support of the Municipality of Sorrento, announce the benefit concert "Once Upon a Time at Night," a reminiscence in words and music about the history of the nightclub, which will take place on Friday, September 22nd at 20:00 PM at Villa Fiorentino (Corso Italia, 53, Sorrento).
The benefit concert, conceived by Gino Finelli and featuring the Ensemble Italiano, will benefit medical care for children in Benin, sub-Saharan Africa. The concert's uniqueness lies in its conception and the band's composition, which includes oncologists from the "Jonu Africa" and "Dare futuro" associations and professional musicians.
The emblematic songs born in the intimate atmosphere of the Night Club retrace the crucial phases of Italian history of that period.
