The tormented Green Park of Caivano knows no peace. After the blitzes and the Alto Impatto operations, criminals are back to reign supreme in the streets of the neighborhood.
Fear just before midnight in the Parco Verde of Caivano, for a shooting: the one to report it on Facebook is Don Maurizio Patriciello, a parish priest who has been fighting against crime for years.
The carabinieri who intervened on the spot found 19 gunshots of two different calibers. No traces of blood were found: therefore it was a demonstration shot.
A challenge to the Strato after the raids or a lead signal towards some criminal who lives in Viale delle Margherite?
“Sunday is coming to an end,” writes Don Maurizio, “just over an hour to midnight. There is no peace for the people of my parish. On their motorcycles, they have arrived once again. Faces covered. Heavy weapons in their hands. They race down the avenues shooting wildly.
It's terror. The 'stese' are scary. Anyone can die. Lord, help us. And all of you who have criticized the police and the government's intervention, be ashamed. And, if you have the courage, come and live with your children at the 'Parco Verde' in Caivano. Come on, honest brothers and sisters of Parco Verde. Courage. The Lord does not abandon us”.
At dawn on September 5, the State had made its presence seen and felt in Caivano with an inter-force operation in which 400 men were employed. A few days later the Caivano decree law was passed.
