Saturday 30th September at 17pm and Sunday 1st October at 11.30am, at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples

Another weekend of the “Open Air” series at the Teatro dei Piccoli of the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples with puppet shows on Saturday 30 September (17 pm) in the pine forest and live music on Sunday 1 October (11.30:XNUMX am) exceptionally in the hall (inside the theatre) as part of the programme organised for the whole family by Le Nuvole/Casa del Contemporaneo Progetto Sonora, I Teatrini, created in agreement with the Municipality of Naples and the management of the Mostra d'Oltremare, and adhering to the “Campania è” project.

On Saturday, September 30th - again at 17 pm - the tragicomic gags of PULCINELLA CHE PASSIONE will welcome the public from the shack designed and created by Antonello Furmiglieri, also a master puppeteer, who will become the body and voice of creditors, a policeman, and the ogre Beelzebub, all busy chasing, for different reasons, poor Pulcinella, stubbornly committed only to realizing his dream: love and freedom.

For the show, Riccardo Cominotto has selected music by Handel and Verdi, which has been part of the Casa del Contemporaneo repertoire for over 25 years. This music supports the fast-paced, surprise-filled plot, which unfolds in a variety of dialects, with puns and nursery rhymes that make this show particularly suitable for younger audiences.

The natural cycle of the changing seasons will inspire the AUTUMN concert workshop by Progetto Sonora on Sunday, October 1st—when programming also begins to get earlier at 11.30:3 a.m. Through play and dance, the Ensemble's musicians will lead the little ones (XNUMX+) and their companions into musical atmospheres from Vivaldi to Astor Piazzolla, from Tchaikovsky to Scott Joplin, inspired by the profound emotions of contact with nature.

"We will find singing, onomatopoeia, refrains, the "solitutti" alternation of voice, string instruments, wind instruments and percussion. A natural reality of sounds that the composers present to us in an orderly and composed manner, and that will not fail to excite and involve the audience in listening and participation".

Dual entrance for the public, from Viale Usodimare and Via Terracina 197, Quick Parking at Mostra d'Oltremare (both with parking). Tickets cost €8, with reservations required by calling +327 079 5871 081 or +18903126 XNUMX XNUMX (both also available on WhatsApp), or emailing info@teatrodeipiccoli.it.
