Reviews "completely false" provided by Uefa in relation to the independent investigation into the final of Champions League 2022 played at the Stade de France. But in letters sent to UEFA's general secretary, Theodore Theodoridis, and three other senior officials, seen by the "Guardian", Burkhalter-Lau rejected as "completely false" UEFA's evidence supports the claim that Ceferin wanted to protect his friend. It was not the unit led by Burkhalter-Lau that excluded Pavlica and her team from the final planning, as the investigation revealed, but rather the security unit led by Ceferin's friend that deserted the meetings and withheld information that would have been crucial to preventing the incidents.
