The two parents died, and their two children, aged seven and three, are hospitalized in serious condition at Santobono Hospital in Naples. The girl suffered a ruptured spleen and multiple fractures, while her younger brother suffered multiple fractures and lung problems. The prognosis remains guarded, but doctors are confident they will recover.
The man tested positive for cocaine and was unable to drive at the time of the crash.
