The driver of an Opel Astra who collided with a Fiat 600 last night on Via Volturno, on the outskirts of Acerra, killing Rino Losco and Lina Iannone and injuring their two young children, is under investigation for double road homicide.
The two children were seriously injured and were transported in red code to the Santobono pediatric hospital in Napoli, where they are currently hospitalized in intensive care and with a reserved prognosis.
The investigations are being conducted by the State Police officers from the Acerra police station, who intervened on site with the Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna radiomobile unit, the firefighters and the 118 health personnel.
