The 47-year-old from Capua , who was stopped yesterday evening and reported by the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Marcianise Company, who intervened following the report of a violent fight taking place in the Aurno area of that municipality, near the car park of the “ Campania ” Shopping Centre, will have to answer for personal injury and possession of weapons or objects capable of causing offence .
The alarm was raised by the security personnel of the commercial park who, as soon as they realized the seriousness of the situation, called “112”, causing the military of the Arma to arrive immediately on the scene. Upon their arrival, the carabinieri, after having calmed the fight, blocked and identified the aggressor who, with the sole purpose of securing a parking space in one of the stalls in the area, had violently hit with a baseball bat a 45-year-old from Naples who was about to occupy the space he had chosen.
The victim required immediate medical care provided by the 118 service health personnel, who took her to the Marcianise hospital where she was found to be suffering from head trauma with a lacerated wound to the scalp, with a prognosis of seven days. On site, the Carabinieri proceeded to search the accused and his car, finding inside the car the 60 cm long baseball bat used in the attack and a machete with a 36 cm blade. The items found were seized.
