Naples The State Police this morning executed an arrest warrant issued by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Office against Giuseppe Lo Russo alias “Pepp 'o Capitone”.
The same, head of the homonymous Lo Russo clan, hegemonic in the neighborhoods of Miano, Chiaiano, Piscinola and Marianella, brother of the well-known collaborators of justice Mario, Salvatore and Carlo, has been detained continuously from 24 July 1998 until today, serving approximately 25 years in prison for Camorra association, murder, extortion and drug-related crimes.
The activity originates from the delegation of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Napoli in response to statements by collaborators of justice which were followed by the emergence of serious evidence of guilt against Giuseppe Lo Russo in relation to the murders of Angel DeCaro, born in Naples on 04.

Furthermore, ongoing investigations have revealed the intention of Giuseppe Lo Russo, the only one of the brothers who did not repent, to flee once released from prison: therefore, the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples has issued an arrest warrant against him for the aforementioned murders, aggravated by the method mafioso.
