The police in Caserta arrested three people for possession of approximately 24 kilos for the purpose of dealing marijuana. A joint operation between the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters of Caserta and the police station of Santa Maria Capua Vetere allowed searches to be carried out in a company in the municipality of San Tammaro, inside which there was a suspicion that a large quantity of narcotic substances was stored.ADVERTISING
During the searches, inside a fireplace of a room used as a kitchen, the investigators found hidden 15 large bags containing marijuana, with a total weight of 15 kilos. In an adjacent shed, 5 fans, used to disperse the strong odor produced by the narcotic substance during drying.
The manager of the farm, a forty-year-old with a criminal record for aiding illegal immigration, was arrested. Further searches were carried out at the home of a married couple of Albanian nationals aged 35 and 29, and approximately 9 kilos of marijuana were found hidden in the chimney of the house. The man is in prison, while the woman is under house arrest.
