A party with music and dancing in period costumes to celebrate the reopening to the public of the Antiquarium Uomo e Ambiente in BoscorealeThe reopening ceremony of the Villa Regina museum, closed for several years for restoration work, will be held on Friday 13 October from 17.30:XNUMX pm.
An event organized by the Archaeological Park of Pompeii in collaboration with the Municipality of Boscoreale and open to all citizens.
The Antiquarium will also have a room exclusively dedicated to the excavations underway in the suburban villa of Civita Giuliana, with the ceremonial chariot discovered in 2021 which will be exhibited to the public for the first time (photo attached).
“The reopening of the Antiquarium is a moment of joy for all of us,” explains Boscoreale Mayor Pasquale Di Lauro, “because it means returning a key element of the local tourism system to the area.

The ceremony will begin at 17.30:XNUMX pm with the presentation to the public of the “Grande Pompei” project, a widespread park that brings together Pompeii, Oplontis, Stabia and Boscoreale.
A single ticket, valid for three days, which will allow visitors to make itineraries between the various archaeological sites, thanks also to the presence of shuttles operating all day. Afterwards, at 18.30:XNUMX pm, the party will begin with music, aperitif and dancing and tarantella in period costumes.
