A 56-year-old man already known to law enforcement was arrested by the Carabinieri in Brusciano; over 11 kilos of drugs were found in his car's garage.
It was some plastic bags, abandoned on the stairs of one of the reinforced concrete lots of the 219 public housing complex, that attracted the attention of the police. They were packaging material, perhaps discarded because they were damaged.
So the soldiers lie in wait, skillfully blending in with civilian clothes so as not to attract attention. For hours nothing happens, then the door to that landing opens and a man reaches the garage.
The carabinieri follow him with their eyes and discover that in that place there is not only a car kept. There are drugs, lots of drugs.

They stop Nunzio Fioretti before he can go back. The 56-year-old, already known to the police, was hiding over 11 kilos of drugs in the garage: 6 bags and 331 doses of marijuana, 37 blocks and 712 doses of hashish.
Fioretti ended up in handcuffs and was taken home, the Poggioreale district prison. He is now awaiting trial
The Carabinieri's investigations are now continuing to trace the suppliers of the drugs and establish on whose behalf the pusher was operating.
