The Ponticelli criminal cartel, composed of the De Luca – Bossa – Casella – Minichini – Rinaldi – and Reale families, which oppose the De Micco-De Martino families, financed drug trafficking by demanding protection money from families to occupy the public housing in Conocal Park.
For this reason, at dawn today the Carabinieri and the State Police, in particular the soldiers of the Carabinieri Investigative Units of Napoli and Torre Annunziata and police officers from the Mobile Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters, from the Investigative Sections of the Central Operations Service (SISCO), from the “Ponticelli” and “Poggioreale” Police Stations, executed, on behalf of the acting District Attorney, a precautionary custody order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 31 people
All considered, to varying degrees, seriously suspected of association for the purpose of drug trafficking and numerous episodes of illicit detention, all aggravated by the mafioso.
The suspects are linked, in various capacities, to the Camorra criminal cartel called De Luca – Bossa – Casella – Minichini – Rinaldi - Reale, active in the eastern part of Naples.
24 in prison and 7 under house arrest
The measure provides for 24 people to be held in prison in pre-trial detention and 7 to be placed under house arrest.

The measure carried out is a precautionary measure ordered during preliminary investigations, against which appeals are permitted, and the recipients of the same are people subjected to investigations and therefore presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
