Camorra: blitz in Ponticelli: all the names of those arrested

There are 24 people, believed to be close to the De Luca-Bossa-Casella-Minichini-Rinaldi-Reale Camorra cartel active in the eastern area of ​​Naples, for whom precautionary custody in prison has been ordered and for 7, house arrest.

The order summarizes the results of a vast investigative activity, coordinated by the Neapolitan District Anti-Mafia Directorate, started in April 2016 following a seizure of drugs and some manuscripts at one of the homes where the criminal group's illicit activity was managed.

The investigation was then expanded over time, gathering important evidence on the Camorra association. A second segment of activity was started in September 2020 after some intimidating acts against citizens of the Ponticelli neighborhood who were asked for sums of money in exchange for maintaining or obtaining public housing.

Investigations that have allowed to document the current presence of the clan and its related illicit activities. Already on November 28, 2022 there had been a similar operation by the Judicial Police against 66 recipients seriously suspected of mafia-type association, extortion and possession of weapons. Also in this first tranche the suspects had been linked, in various capacities, to the Camorra criminal cartel De Luca-Bossa-Casella-Minichini-Rinaldi-Reale.
