On Friday, October 6th, at 20.30:XNUMX pm at Villa Macrina, as part of the ArTTOrRE festival organized by the municipality of Torre del Greco, the Ethnos Club association presents the show Cantata per la festa dei bambini morti di mafia, performed by students of the La Bazzarra Theater School, directed by Gigi Di Luca.
The text is a story by Luciano Violante, very dear to Gigi Di Luca, who adapted and directed it, staging it for the first time in 2009 at the Teatro Bellini with a company of professional artists.

A work proposed again to the students, which is still relevant for the topic of the right to
legality and denied childhood that it contains. The staging of total chorality, touches multiple narrative levels: words, music and images blend and contrast in a single musical score. A single song with many voices that moves from poetry to denunciation, from the real to the surreal, from death to life. And it is life itself that is the protagonist; it is not death that is told, but life and the desire to live it intensely. Di Luca himself, as artistic director and maestro, in this case, as well as director, underlines the importance of encouraging the new generations to have a critical look at society and to sensitize consciences through the instrument of theatrical art.
