One dead and two injured is the result of a serious road accident that occurred yesterday evening in the Caserta area on the 335 highway marcianise-Giugliano.
The victim is a 76 year old man, who was stopped with his car at the edge of the road, with the tow truck that was assisting him and was ready to load his auto broken down, when suddenly a car driven by a man swooped down on them.
The impact was very strong, with the 76-year-old being hit and dying almost instantly. Two other people were also injured, including the driver of the tow truck. The Highway Police were on site Caserta, who carried out the surveys and is reconstructing the dynamics.
The driver of the car, which was seized, was subjected to all the tests to determine whether he was fit to drive at the time of the impact. His position will be assessed by the magistrate of the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North.
