A cyclist from Ponticelli died of a heart attack this morning in Castellammare while pedaling with friends.
The victim's name was Vincenzo De Micco and he was 40 years old. Cycling was his passion and this morning he got on the two-wheeler and together with a friend he left from Ponticelli to get to Castellammare.
A route he often took: he felt ill when he was on Corso Alcide De Gasperi near a well-known bar on the Castellammare seafront.
He collapsed to the ground, his friend tried to help him along with some customers of the bar.
