He was shaving with an electric razor and most likely the exposed electrical wires, worn away by time, allowed the fatal passage of electricity.

This is how he died, Aprilia News reports, a 31-year-old man from the Pontine municipality. It happened on Friday evening. The victim, 31-year-old Erik Faustini, was shaving in the bathroom.

A very common operation indeed, which would never suggest any danger.

The young man was using an electric razor whose cord, as was later verified, had an exposed wire.

 The reconstruction of the tragedy

Apparently, during the operation, the 31-year-old accidentally touched that very wire, which proved fatal. According to investigators, the razor's power cord was damaged near the plug, leaving some wires exposed.

It is likely that when unplugging the cord from the socket, perhaps at the end of shaving, Erik Faustini touched that very area, without however turning off the appliance.

Immediate aid was provided but unfortunately could not save the young man. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at the parish of San Pietro e Paolo.
