The funeral of Alessia Neboso, the 21-year-old who died following breast augmentation surgery, was held this morning. The funeral was held in the church of San Pietro Apostolo in San Pietro a Patierno, in the Neapolitan neighborhood where the young woman lived.
Many gathered for the service, amidst an atmosphere of grief and anger. Outside the church, banners read: "Justice for Alessia." A white coffin with white roses accompanied the young woman on her final journey.
During the homily, the priest remembered Alessia as a beautiful girl, not only physically but also internally.

Alessia had undergone surgery at a clinic in Naples to increase her breast size, but a few days after the procedure, which took place on September 11th, she began to feel unwell. However, the situation quickly deteriorated, and the young woman was transported to a clinic in serious condition, where unfortunately she died. An investigation has been opened into the case.
Alessia's family: "We want to know what happened."
Alessia's family has demanded justice for their daughter. "We want to know what happened," they said. "We want those who caused Alessia's death to pay for what they did."
Alessia's death has caused great pain and anger in the community of San Pietro a Patierno. The young woman was well known and appreciated for her kindness and her smile. Her death is an irreplaceable loss for all those who knew her.
