From Germany to Santo Stefano del Sole, two thousand inhabitants in the Alta Valle del Sabato, in the province of Avellino, to get married. Jagroop Singh, a computer engineer of Indian nationality, and Ada Ferrara, originally from Enna.
The two live in Berlin and took the long journey lightheartedly to get married in a place they had only seen through photos and videos, drawn by the "beauty and charm" of the hilltop village ten kilometers from Avellino.

The civil ceremony was performed at City Hall by Mayor Gerardo Santoli, who had already married a French couple from Fontaine-au-Bois a few months earlier. "We are a town of kindness and love," the mayor said, "and thanks in part to these couples who are not of Santo Stefano origin, it consolidates its reputation as a magical and romantic place."
The Irpinian village, whose existence dates back to shortly after the year 1000, is not only an important archaeological site from the Samnite era, but is also known for the phenomenon that occurs every day at sunset: while the sun sets over the entire valley, its rays continue to illuminate Santo Stefano, creating a unique contrast of light and shadow.
