Marracash has been surprisingly announced to join the line up of Red Bull 64 Bars Live, sold out, on Saturday 7 October in Piazza Ciro Esposito in Naples. The Milanese rapper originally from Barona and already protagonist of the first edition of the event will bring his latest Red Bull 64 Bars produced by thasup to the stage for the first time.
The artists, on a 360-degree immersive stage, will perform a setlist full of unique moments and surprises, bringing live songs from Red Bull 64 Bars, as well as hits from their own repertoire, without any interruptions: a continuous flow and without pauses for a non-stop performance that will see them involved in a real marathon of pure rap. The structure of the Red Bull 64 Bars Live stage, completely renovated for the second edition, will allow spectators to live a different experience in the world of lyrics and sounds.
Furthermore, one of the most important innovations this year is the partnership with Plenitude (Eni), which will install a mobile photovoltaic system in Piazza Ciro Esposito to help power the Festival bar structure, together with a hybrid generator for the food & beverage area, with the aim of making the event more sustainable. Research and application of new solutions for energy efficiency are at the heart of Plenitude's mission.
Scampia will be both the setting and the centerpiece of the show, with strong ties to the local artists involved again this year. The event is part of the City of Naples' "Naples, City of Music" project, aimed at highlighting the talents that animate the city, organizing, and internationalizing Neapolitan musical creativity. This will enable individual regions to take center stage, thus becoming agents of change.
In the days leading up to the event, many UniMarconi students will have the opportunity to live a unique experience, follow workshops directly in the venue where the show will take place and discover the behind the scenes of Red Bull 64 Bars Live.
This year, the collaboration between Red Bull 64 Bars Live, Radio Deejay and m2o has been renewed.
