From today, Friday 6 October, 'Ricordi', the new single by the singer-songwriter from Garda, Niccolò Avanzi, is available on digital platforms and all digital stores. The song anticipates the release of the new album of unreleased songs scheduled for the first months of 2024.
"Ricordi" is a love story that ends even though the love remains. Because memories don't fade; they remain attached to a place, a song, an image, or a simple object. And it is precisely memories that help write our history. Memories past and memories future.
"I decided to release "Ricordi" because, in terms of sound, it's the song that best reflects the album that will be released, both in terms of mood and music. – declares Niccolò Avanzi - This is a melancholic piece that blends ethereal and delicate sounds. I hope the emotional power of the piece reaches those who listen to it."

Biography
Niccolò Avanzi was born in Lonato del Garda, in the province of Brescia. From an early age, influenced by his father, he showed a strong interest in music, initially listening to punk, grunge, and Brit rock (this was in the late 90s). He later moved on to electronic, classical, R&B, and jazz, exploring many genres but always seeking something different and sophisticated in his music. During his formative years, he learned to play guitar and piano and then collaborated with various bands. In 2008, he launched his first project, The Oranges, for which he wrote the rock album Hit The Centre (produced by Marco Caldera). In 2011, he launched his solo project, Macedonian. Assisted by Fausto Zanardelli (Edipo and later Coma_Cose), he released his first album, The Crowd of Clouds, which blends pop, psychedelia, and classical music. After a long gestation, his new album, Due Volte Uno, was released in 2023. It demonstrates a profound evolution in his now mature style, oriented toward a singer-songwriter style he himself defines as alternative. Piano and vocals dominate, accompanied by a backing track that oscillates between electronic and pop, creating a dissonant effect that initially unsettles the listener and creates the need for further, more attentive listening to understand the delicate balance between the parts and the harmony within the composition. The lyrics create mental images through which the listener is prompted on a metaphysical journey through feelings, rationality, moments, and infinity, into the author's inner world.
