Napoli Fiorentina report cards: Meret makes a mistake, Di Lorenzo still inattentive. Kvara a ghost

Meret: 5. He has to do more, he has to give more to the team. Brekalo kicks hard against the post after 7' and he gets fooled under his legs, on his own post.

Nothing can be done about the other conclusions, for a change the spark that saves the result is always missing. It is revealing evident limits.

By Lorenzo: 5. Slow and sleepy on a Martinez Quarta who gets away from him too easily: the latter then hits the post and on the tap-in Brekalo takes care of scoring.

Defensively lacking, he tries as usual to propose himself forward with poor results. Less proactive attitude than usual.

Ostigard: 5. With Nzola he keeps a good watch, but Fiorentina, as is well known, does not rely much on its striker.

And then the others run away everywhere: in the second half he swerves along with the rest of the defense. He leaves Bonaventura completely unmarked on the goal, mistakenly detaching himself, even if it is true that the ball reaches number 5 after an unfortunate rebound.

Nathan: 6. He shows great determination, plays a solid match and makes an important contribution also in the ball management phase: it is in fact his cross, not perfect, from which the penalty earned by Osimhen comes.

Many tough and mean tackles that earned Maradona applause.

Olivera: 5,5. Much more than usual he is seen going forward, proposing himself in various circumstances in the opponent's half. However, he almost never manages to make the difference, with a play or with an interesting idea.

Defensively he was unlucky with the rebound that found Bonaventura, who opened up a right-footed shot for 2-1.

Anguissa: 5,5. Quite intangible. He touches the ball just 27 times in just over half an hour, and only engages in a one-on-one tackle.

He serves Lobotka well and then threatens Terracciano from the edge with a nice shot before coming out in pain (from 32' Raspadori: 5,5.

Almost never dangerous).

Lobotka: 5,5. He drops a lot in an attempt to set up the game and dictate the tempo. He makes few mistakes but the maneuver is not fluid, especially in the first half.

He threatens Terracciano after half an hour with a good shot from outside, he finishes with zero key passes (from 76' Cajetan: 6).

Zielinski: 5,5. Less 'influential' than usual in the Azzurri attack. He plays much deeper, in close contact with the other two midfielders, leaving the offensive duties to the attacking trio.

So there was little of interest on his side, he also lost a few too many balls (from 76' Lindstrom: 5,5).

Politano: 6. He finishes with 7 key passes and an excellent pass accuracy of 87%. In several circumstances he puts his teammates in a position to shoot towards the goal, he would have deserved more luck (from 57' Cajuste: 5,5.

He had a chance, but he looked towards the centre of the area instead of going for the goal.

osimhen: 6. Ups and downs. A dull first half, he can't find any conclusions on goal.

Suddenly he lights up: two opportunistic flashes, brought down twice in the area. The referee whistles a clear penalty, which he converts.

In the second half, however, the wasted opportunity was gigantic: Terracciano hypnotized him one-on-one (from 76' Simeon: sv).

kvaratskhelia: 5. A ghost for most of the match, thanks to a great Kayode who played a fantastic game in marking him. In the second half he only managed to escape once, on that occasion it was Gaetano who wasted the opportunity from outside the area.

Very lopsided even in long-range attempts.
