The 'ex Sofer tower' will be demolished by the end of October Pozzuoli (Naples). Residents' concerns have focused on the tower, which has been abandoned for years but still stands out in the former industrial complex, following the recent earthquakes that struck the Campi Flegrei area, with several reports of falling debris.
According to what LaPresse has learned, the checks carried out on the tower have not revealed any critical issues regarding its stability.

The former Sofer plant, a rolling stock and bus manufacturing company, abandoned for over twenty years, overlooks the sea and extends from the Pozzuoli port area to the Arco Felice district. The tower looms over the Cumana railway between the Cantieri (now defunct) and Arco Felice stations, and over Via Raimondo Annecchino.
