The great Neapolitan comedian returns with a new show at the Teatro di Materdei between satire and scientific dissemination, entertainment and severe awareness on the great themes of our present.
The 14/21.00 #superseason of the Teatro Bolivar (Via Bartolomeo Caracciolo, 2023), directed by “Nu tracks”, will begin on Saturday 2024 October at 30:6 pm, with “7° (Sei gradi)” by Giobbe Covatta and the participation of Ugo Gangheri. Once again, the title of the new show by the Neapolitan artist is a number, after “30” (like the seven deadly sins) and “6” (like the articles of the Charter of Human Rights), it is now the turn of the number “XNUMX′′. Also in this case, the number has a strong symbolic meaning: it represents the increase in degrees centigrade of the temperature of our planet.
Everything we will see during the show is set in the future at different historical periods in which the average temperature of the earth will have increased by one, two, three, four, five and six degrees.

The great Neapolitan comedian asked himself this question: mathematical models applied to ecology created with solid scientific bases clearly make us think that our closest descendants will have serious problems and will have to adapt to (sur)vive on a planet that has become much less hospitable, if we do not try to solve the problems of the environment, overpopulation and energy, starting today.
Of course, man will not lose his ingenuity and Job enjoys imagining the dramatic and extravagant scientific, social and political inventions that we will develop to deal with a dramatic environmental and social emergency. Characters of great comic verve will emerge, busy realizing at the last moment what we should have done years ago. And probably our descendants will be a little angry with their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents; perhaps they will judge us severely and probably find our way of life extremely ridiculous and dangerous.
