Arzano – The commander of the local police, Biagio Chiariello, has been awarded the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
Applause from the mayor Cinzia Aruta, the council and the municipal administration. With a decree from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, Dr. Biagio Chiariello, a man of the institutions who has always decided to stand on the side of legality.
The uniform sewn on him, first that of the Carabinieri, retiring with commendable service, then that of the State Police where he held delicate roles first at the Rome Flying Squad dealing with paedophilia and sexual violence, then at the Ministry of the Interior fighting online paedophilia and then in the highest investigative apparatus of the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate dealing with the fight against the Camorra.
Referent of two Government officials in the land of fires, Superordinate in prefectural commissions in municipalities dissolved for Camorra infiltration and then manager of the local police, role currently held in Arzano, North Naples area.
He ended up in the sights of the Camorra after threats aggravated by mafia methods after having discovered the scandal in the council houses abandoned for years and where he reported over 30 individuals close to the clan of the 167 of Arzano, and for this he ended up under escort.
But not only that, he has always fought the business system in the territories by identifying the invulnerable departments of public administration offices. He enjoys the esteem of numerous Authorities and in his curriculum many awards sponsored also by the Presidency of the Republic, Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Chamber of Deputies. He has always worked in the social sector, alongside young people, in schools, parishes, associations.
"I am proud to receive this recognition that comes at a time when further motivation is always good. I dedicate it to my family and to all those who believed in me by supporting me in these difficult paths where everyone believes that nothing can be recovered. I tell young people to believe in it, I have never sought compromises, and yet I have always made it in my life, even the price to pay if I do not accept the stench of compromise is high".
