The reconstruction of the thefts and the preceding stages allowed them to identify Patrizio Stefanoni, known as "'o zio," as the leader, creator, and promoter of the organization. According to the investigating judge's order, Stefanoni "coordinates, directs, and directs his associates in the pursuit of the organization's common criminal agenda, organizing meetings with his closest associates in the area." During the searches this morning, in a house, the Carabinieri found a trap door in the floor. In the house of one of the arrested, the following were found:
- 4 walkie talkies, equipped with earphones
-about 20 head torches, presumably used in excavation activities
- 1 frequency jammer
- about 30 cell phones and various video cameras
