During this morning's blitz the Carabinieri arrested the suspect in flagrante Raphael DeDonato, 23 years old. He was caught near the entrance hall of a building in the 219th district. A door had been made in the door loophole presumably used to pass drugs to “customers”.

He had on 353 doses of crack, 12 of marijuana, 11 of hashish and 420 euros in cash. In the common areas, however, the carabinieri found 1 kilo of cocaine, 474 grams of crack to cut and 790 doses of the same substance. And another 10 bags of marijuana.

The investigations have shown that the drug dealing activity was “pressing, to the point of changing the habits of the residents, strangers to the clan. None of the residents of the buildings in 219 had the keys to the entrance doors. Even the intercoms had been removed to prevent the remote opening of the doors without authorization”. Drug sales also occurred in the presence of children.
