The Campania Civil Protection has issued a Yellow level weather alert for rain and thunderstorms valid from 12:21 tomorrow, Tuesday 12 November, to 22:XNUMX the day after tomorrow, Wednesday XNUMX November.
Sudden precipitation is expected, including showers or thunderstorms. The phenomena could be sudden, intense and rapidly evolving. Lightning, hail and gusts of wind are also possible.
The alert concerns the whole of Campania with the exception of zones 2 (Alto Volturno and Matese), 4 (Alta Irpinia and Sannio) and 7 (Tanagro).
Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of the impact of precipitation on the ground are flooding, increase in the hydrometric levels of watercourses, flow of water in road surfaces, runoff with transport of material, rock falls and landslides linked to particularly fragile soil conditions.
