Capri, ride an electric scooter in the hospital

Capri has always been a unique island in the behavior and habits of its residents and tourists who flock there year-round. And this time, it once again shows itself to be ahead of the curve, albeit irregularly. Yes, because at the hospital Capilupi a certain level of technology has been reached. Visitors can ride around the corridors on an electric scooter.

Actually, no, they couldn't, but it happened anyway, as documented in videos witnesses sent to Green-Left MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli. "We recorded this individual leaving the hospital, but his entrance was the same. For the staff, everything was normal. Perhaps he's an employee too. He was freely riding his scooter through the hospital corridors," the whistleblower said, adding that it's common practice to ride his scooter through the hospital corridors, even at high speed. The same individual is seen riding in the lobby where patients are admitted, and therefore there's public access.

We've reported the incident to the health management. Is it possible that there are people who consider it normal to move around a hospital like this without anyone saying anything? That they would mistake the corridors of a hospital or the admissions room for a runway? We don't even understand such indifference in the face of such absurdity and incivility. If we don't change our attitude, everyone will soon do whatever comes to mind. We've asked the management to carefully investigate this report and determine whether it was an isolated incident or a common occurrence, as exasperated patients claim. They should also determine whether the incident involved internal staff or a visitor, and how this could have been allowed to happen,” commented Borrelli.
