Sala Assoli, a space historically dedicated to Cinema, from Monday 20 November offers meetings and screenings, curated by , with the evocative title Other Visions – , a journey that moves on the border between disciplines and languages of the stage and the screen. The theater where Mario Martone's Teatro di guerra and Paolo Sorrentino's L'amore non ha confini were filmed, in a historical moment in which we are witnessing the closure of movie theaters, opens an important space dedicated to film screenings.

It starts on November 20th at 20.30:5 pm with Eleonora Danco's film debut, N-CAPACE. The director and star of the film will meet the public together with Antonella Di Nocera and Angelo Curti. Ticket price: 3 euros; 21 euros for ticket holders of the shows La Luna and A Number, on stage at Sala Assoli, and for those who have already purchased the ticket for Benvenuti stelle, on stage at the Ridotto del Mercadante from November 26st to 345th. N-CAPACE, the dazzling debut of director, playwright and performer Eleonora Danco – awarded with two special mentions at the 32nd Turin Film Festival, designated Film of the Critics by the National Union of Film Critics SNCCI, nominated for the David di Donatello and the Nastri d'Argento – is a cinematic gem. Between interviews, performances and post-surrealist atmospheres, the film reveals the visionary talent of the author. It all comes from not wanting to suffer for the death of her mother: the protagonist, Soul in Penetra, has a conflict with her elderly father and the places of her childhood. Travelling between Terracina and , stops to talk to the elderly and teenagers. She is attracted by their faces, their voices, and she questions them.

Produced by Angelo Barbagallo with RaiCinema, N-CAPACE makes use of the precious photography of Daria D'Antonio, a constant eye on Paolo Sorrentino's most recent films, awarded with the David di Donatello for È stato la mano di Dio.

Eleonora Danco, a total artist much appreciated by Mario Martone and Nanni Moretti, declares among the sources of inspiration for the film: “The metaphysics of De Chirico, the surrealism of Buñuel. There is a bit of this in me who, with a pickaxe in my hand, would like to destroy desecrating places like the wall of the Ara Pacis, the new closed market of Testaccio or others. The film is a yearning for life”.

The artist is working on her second film with the provisional title Disco Inferno, which she herself defines as: "a story without a plot, generated by the most intimate conditions of life, by the things we cannot fully say. I will be at the center of a dozen choral characters, from the street, all involved with an interior, visceral language, made of moods".

Theatrical Artists and Filmmakers will continue throughout the Sala Assoli season, offering screenings featuring protagonists of the stage and screen, including Daria Deflorian and Antonio Tagliarini, Lino Musella, Saverio La Ruina, Vincenzo Pirrotta, Luigi Lo Cascio.
