This is the macabre and violent reconstruction of what happened and reported in the precautionary custody order that hit the ex-boyfriend Filippo Turetta, arrested in Germany, after a few days on the run for murder, signed by the investigating judge of Venice Benedetta Vitolo.
The device explains how the hypothesis is that once the ex-couple stopped in the parking lot on Via Aldo Moro in Vigonovo, "150 meters" from the Cecchettin house, Giulia she was attacked by Filippo "probably using a knife", but death would have occurred in the industrial area, when the boy violently pushed her to the ground and the 22-year-old student hit her head.
Filippo Turetta, accused of the murder of his ex-girlfriend Giulia Cecchettin, must stay in prison because he could kill other women. This is one of the passages in the order with which the investigating judge of Venice Benedetta Vitolo ordered his arrest, which later became a European arrest warrant executed in Germany.
According to the investigating judge Filippo Turetta, he could kill other women
“With this repeated and unheard-of ferocious attack on his young girlfriend, who was about to graduate, Turetta has demonstrated a total lack of self-control,” it reads.
Elements suitable "to establish a judgment of extreme dangerousness and cause for alarm" given that "feminicides are the order of the day". The young man appears "unpredictable, because after having led a life marked by apparent normality, he suddenly carried out this crazy and reckless act", is highlighted in the provision.
Tape over her mouth to keep her from screaming
The adhesive tape, seized by the Carabinieri next to the visible trace of blood found in the industrial area of Fossò, was “applied” by Filippo Turetta “probably to prevent Giulia Cecchettin from screaming”.
It is one of the elements present in the custody order signed by the investigating judge of Venice against the 22-year-old. According to the investigators, Giulia was stabbed in the parking lot 150 meters from her home and was then forced - "Giulia was deprived of freedom of movement" so much so that a witness heard her scream several times - to stay next to Filippo in the car that headed towards the industrial area of Fossò where the young student was killed.

It is scary to think that there could be such dangerous people among us.
It's a terrible story, it hurts me to read these things.
I hope Giulia's family can find some peace after this tragedy.
I hope that justice will be done and that measures will be taken to protect women.
I can't even imagine what that poor girl felt.
