The opinion of the Oberlandesgericht of Naumburg, the Higher Regional Court, regarding the extraction of Filippo is expected in the next few hours, or during the course of tomorrow. Turetta, the twenty-two year old Venetian student accused of having intentionally killed his ex-girlfriend Giulia Cecchettin.

Turetta, arrested on Saturday evening by German police while he was on the A9 motorway near Leipzig in Germany after an escape of around a thousand kilometres, spent his first night in prison in Halle (Saale).
Turetta is assisted by the German lawyer Dimitar Krassa with a firm in Maybachstrasse. During yesterday's hearing to validate the arrest on a European warrant, Turetta said he was in favor of extradition to Italy. The time frame should be short but not immediate.
Filippo's father met Giulia's relatives
During the torchlight procession last night, Filippo Turetta's father, Nicola, approached two relatives of Giulia Cecchettin, expressing his condolences and distress. Filippo's lawyer, Emanuele Compagno, attended the meeting and reported it today.
"Filippo's father took part in the torchlight procession with me and on that occasion he approached some of Giulia's relatives. A meeting without formalities - he says - which once again demonstrates the great dignity shown in this affair by the two families, everything took place in mutual respect, as in the days before and even after Giulia was found".
