Late yesterday evening the Carabinieri of the Giugliano radiomobile section intervened at the emergency room of the local hospital.
A 51-year-old woman, apparently agitated by the condition of her 7-year-old son, pushed the security guard and railed against the doctor on duty.
He then punched him in the back of the head and allegedly threw a water bottle in his face. The woman was reported.

The emergency room staff suffered minor injuries. This is just the latest episode of violence against medical and paramedical personnel that has been occurring in hospitals in Naples and the province since the beginning of the year.
