The Civil Protection of the Region Campania has issued a weather alert for strong winds and rough seas valid from 9 am to 20 pm tomorrow throughout the region with the exception of zones 2 (Alto Volturno and Matese), 4 (Alta Irpinia and Sannio) and 7 (Tanagro).
This is stated in a note. The winds will blow from the western quadrants and will be locally strong with gusts. Storm surges will also be possible along the exposed coasts. The competent authorities are recommended to implement all measures to prevent, counteract and mitigate the effects of the expected events, in line with the respective municipal civil protection plans.
Particular attention must be paid to checking the correct maintenance of public greenery and temporary and mobile structures exposed to winds (including scaffolding and road signs) and wave motion.
