The 2023/2024 season of the Teatro Delle Arti in Salerno begins with a sold out.
Sold out for the two dates of “Stasera, punto ea capo…”, the show that on Saturday 4th (21pm) and Sunday 5th November (18pm), will see Massimiliano Gallo as protagonist, busy, among other things, these days in Salerno, with the filming of “Malinconico 2”.
“Stasera, punto ea capo…” will see the Neapolitan actor, who wrote the text and also signs the direction, as the protagonist together with the actress Shalana Santana and the singer Pina Germanà, in addition to the ensemble directed by maestro Mimmo Napoletano with Gianluca Mirra, Giuseppe di Colandrea, Davide Costagliola and Fabiana Sirigu.
With this show Gallo wants to put a point to start over. Start over, start again, but not necessarily by taking a step forward. You can also start over by going back a little further. Resetting, bringing to zero, cancelling, annulling what was not done well.
What is not good. So let's do it: generations compared! To understand if this life is the one we have chosen. A journey through Gallo's teenage years, a journey through the eighties, years of trust, well-being and positivity. A continuous comparison between what was there yesterday and not today and vice versa, also retracing salient events of that period. Up to the fall of the Berlin Wall which represented the illusion that something could change instead nothing has changed and perhaps something has even worsened, but the hope is always the same: put a full stop and move on!
