Teresa Buonocore became a symbol of courage and determination after she reported the man who abused her 8-year-old daughter. Murdered by two hitmen in 2010, Teresa Buonocore was awarded the gold medal for civil merit in 2017 for her heroic gesture. This new family home bears her name to honor her memory and continue her mission of helping women victims of violence.
The inauguration of the “Teresa Buonocore” family home will be attended by the metropolitan mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, the delegated councilor Salvatore Flocco and the heads of the associations involved. In addition, Alessandra Cuevas, daughter of Teresa Buonocore, will be present to commemorate this important milestone.
