Online scams targeting unsuspecting buyers in the province of Avellino. In Lioni, a local man had purchased building materials at an extremely advantageous price on Facebook’s “market place.” But after paying six hundred euros on the fake seller’s prepaid card, he noticed the scam.

The Carabinieri reported the perpetrator: a 65 year old resident in the province of Napoli. In Teora, the scam was committed on a non-existent car radio purchased on an online site for a thousand euros. After the unfortunate buyer reported it, the Carabinieri identified and reported a 35-year-old and a 40-year-old resident of Rome.
