The Carabinieri of the Marano operational section arrested a 20-year-old with no criminal record for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
The young man was stopped during a checkpoint in via quattro Martiri, in the municipality of Mugnano. He was riding a scooter and, when he was searched, the soldiers found 5 balls of cocaine and a bag of marijuana in his pockets.
In a box glued by hand to the scooter's engine compartment were another 35 doses of cocaine.

The 20-year-old was arrested and is now in prison, awaiting trial. The carabinieri continue their investigations to track down his suppliers and establish the role of courier or pusher of the arrested young man.
