The initiative of the Municipality of Bagnoli was presented with the mayor Gaetano Manfredi NAPLES "Verso il Lavoro" aimed at activating paths aimed at promoting the job placement of unemployed or inactive people, organized by the Councilor for Youth Policies and Labor, Chiara Marciani in collaboration with the Councilor for Productive Activities and Tourism, Teresa Armato.
This is stated in a note. The Municipality of NAPLES intends with this intervention to respond in a concrete way to the mismatch between supply and demand of work by generating a path in which companies can train workers on the job and then insert them into the company.
"We are working on all the opportunities - said Mayor Gaetano Manfredi - to create training paths on the one hand, using the poverty fund for internships and placements especially for the weakest groups to give even the most fragile opportunities to approach the world of work, and then on the other hand to match the demand for work that exists in the city with an offer that is often very fragmented and poorly qualified. It is a tiring path but we must do everything to encourage it because it is one of the great challenges of the city.
Ours is a strong investment, concrete numbers and a symbolic place like the Albergo dei Poveri”. “Today we present the initiatives that the Municipality of NAPLES is putting in place to bring our citizens closer to work – explained the Councilor for Youth and Work Chiara Marciani – They are two fundamental initiatives, the first from 19 to 21 December, consists of three days during which at the Albergo dei Poveri there will be the possibility of applying in the various sectors that we have identified as strategic; naturally tourism, construction, personal services and many others that will give the possibility of creating employment in the city through the companies that are supporting us on this path. The other is the possibility for eight hundred of our fellow citizens to participate in one-year internships with a contribution of 600 euros per month.
