Several citizens of via Campegna, Fuorigrotta district, have contacted the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli to report a condition of grave danger caused by the heavy and incessant rains that have hit Naples in recent days.
The road was repeatedly submerged by tons of mud that slid down from the Posillipo hill. Videos sent to the MP also show large boulders threatening the homes, ready to break loose and fall onto the road at any moment.
"The residents of the neighborhood are frightened and fear for their safety. I ask for swift action to assess the condition of the hill and carry out all necessary assessments and, if necessary, secure the area," says Borrelli.

It is absolutely necessary to avoid a risk of landslides that would seriously endanger all the residents of Via Campegna, who have already suffered extensive damage and major inconvenience due to the bad weather of recent days.
Since October 21st, with the first floods due to the rains, the residents of the neighborhood have been asking for reassurance, so I expect the Municipality to intervene quickly to ensure safety."
