Pietrelcina. The Carabinieri of the company of Benevento they discovered a greenhouse for growing marijuana inside the home of a 60-year-old from Pietrelcina, already known to the police.
The man, who lives in a rural and isolated area of the Sannio town, had set up a small greenhouse inside his home. Recently flowered marijuana plants were found in the greenhouse, along with all the equipment needed to grow it intensively.
During the house search, carried out with the help of the Carabinieri Canine Unit of Sarno and the dog Attila, 26 grams of marijuana were also found, already dried and ready to be sold.
The inspection also revealed that the owner of the property had created an illegal connection to the electricity, for which he was reported to the Benevento Prosecutor's Office.
Further searches carried out throughout the territory allowed to find in the house of a young man from Pietrelcina, also thanks to the nose of the dog Attila, 2 grams of hashish. The young man was reported to the Prefecture for personal use of narcotic substance.

All the material used for the cultivation of the drug, in addition to the marijuana plant, was seized, while the 60-year-old was reported at large for cultivation and illicit possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances as well as for aggravated theft of electricity.
