Three people were arrested in Pompeii on charges of mistreatment in the family, child prostitution, sexual acts with minors and child pornography. They are the parents of the minors.
The agents of the Pompeii Police Station have executed three precautionary custody orders in prison issued by the investigating judge of Salerno, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office Salerno, for acts committed between Scafati and Pompeii starting from 2008.
One of the victims “the minor had been induced into prostitution by her mother” and together with her “to have paid sexual intercourse with one of the suspects who was also found in possession of child pornography material”.

“According to the prosecution's hypothesis – writes the Attorney Giuseppe Borrelli, head of the Salerno Prosecutor's Office – one of the victims, since she was very young, had been beaten several times by her father with unjustified violence, even through the use of an iron and a ladle, subjecting her to cruel punitive demands”.
