The gup of Napoli Luca Della Ragione has sentenced – also for the crime of devastation which includes that of damage – two Eintracht Frankfurt ultras involved in the serious clashes which took place in the city on 15 March for the match Champions League between Napoli and Eintracht.The defendants were also found guilty of aggravated resisting arrest.
The German fans marched on foot through the streets of the city and in Piazza del Gesù they came into contact with the police in riot gear, unleashing a real urban guerrilla warfare and causing panic among passers-by and shopkeepers. The damage caused was considerable: a police car was also set on fire.

Another German fan was sentenced to 10 months in prison with probation last May 23: he was arrested on the same occasion but for the riots that took place in front of the Hotel Continental where a large group of Eintracht supporters were staying. The police repelled a blitz by the extreme fringes of the Neapolitan fans.
The German ended up in prison together with the other two convicted yesterday: the Prosecutor's Office and the Digos charged him with the crimes of aggravated residence and the request to the judge was for 3 years and 4 months of imprisonment.
