During Napoli-Milan last October 27th there was great tension in the stands on the border between Napoli's Curva A and the away sector occupied by Milan supporters.
During the first half, there was heavy smoke bombing and firecrackers, and referee Orsato was forced to suspend the match for a few minutes while a feud erupted between the Azzurri and AC Milan supporters, punctuated by mutual chants, which led to sanctions against the clubs by the sports judge.

The images of the clashes ended up on social media. Some were reported to the Green-Left Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, such as the one that shows a large group of Milan ultras singing the now famous vulgar chant against Neapolitans, called cholera sufferers, and throwing smoke bombs.
"It seems like we are in a war zone and instead we are in a stadium where there are no armed conflicts but football matches. Moments of sport transformed into urban warfare. But what are we waiting for to stop all this? Daspos alone are no longer enough, we need new and tougher measures. The Stadium is for true fans and families, not for criminals and violent people." - these are the words of Borrelli.
