Yesterday evening, the police officers from the Police Station Secondigliano, during the operations arranged for this purpose, they noticed a person on a scooter in Via Monviso who, after having pulled up to the pavement, handed over a banknote to a person present there.
The observation service carried out by the police officers was successful since the defendant, after receiving the money, took something from a car parked nearby, then gave it to the motorcyclist who quickly drove away.
Having taken note of the situation, the operators promptly intervened to block the suspect, finding him in possession of the car keys and 805 euros, divided into banknotes of various denominations; furthermore, they carried out a check in the vehicle in his use where they found 3 doses containing approximately 1,5 grams of cocaine.
Since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts being investigated, the police extended the search to his home where they found 10 blocks of hashish with a total weight of approximately 951 grams, two other bars of the same substance of approximately 12 grams, various packaging materials for the drugs and 3 precision scales.
Therefore, a 42-year-old Neapolitan, with a specific police record, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances.
