The new frontiers of drug dealing through social media and with the delivery formula, i.e. home delivery.
That's when they established the Romano family of Secondigliano, linked to the Vinella Grassi clan. A complex network of collaborators and pushers capable of making deliveries in many areas north of Naples, as well as in the municipalities of Casoria and Casavatore.
But this morning five of them ended up in handcuffs: the State Police in fact executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, against Daniele Romano, 28 years old, his father Salvatore Romano, 55 years old, and his mother Giuseppina Esposito, 53 years old, as well as Antonio Russo, 34 years old, and Cristofaro Alfano, 59 years old.
They are all considered seriously suspected of association aimed at the illicit trafficking of narcotic or psychotropic substances aggravated by the conditions set forth in art. 416 bis 1 cp, for facilitating the activity of the Camorra association called Vinella Grassi, operating in the Secondigliano district, allocating to the same a share of the proceeds from the drug dealing activity.
The investigative activity, carried out by the Flying Squad and the Secondigliano Police Station, directed and coordinated by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate, had the objective of dismantling drug dealing in the neighborhoods of Secondigliano, San Carlo all'Arena, Vasto/Arenaccia and Poggioreale, as well as in the areas immediately adjacent to the territory of Naples in the municipalities of Casoria and Casavatore.
The investigative findings brought to light the organization of a traveling cocaine sales activity, with the method of home deliveries of the drug, regulated according to the delivery formula.
The association, characterized by strong family ties, made use of a complex and trusted network of individuals who actively participated in the illicit activity.
