The brand of perfumes of excellence MANSFIELD will be among the protagonists of "A SHOW OF WORK – From the 125 years of INPS to the 125 years since the birth of Toto“, an event that will be held on Wednesday 22 November 2023 in Napoli, in the spaces of Liliana Paduano Academy Conference Center (Garibaldi Square, Napoli).
Among others, the following will speak: Teresa Armato, Councilor for Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples, the Director of the INPS Metropolitan Coordination of Naples Roberto Bafundi ed Elena Anticoli de Curtis, President of the Association Antonio de Curtis, aka Totò, grandson of the legendary Prince of Laughter. “Antonio de Curtis","Principle","Nine hundred"and "Malafemmena” are the four Mansfield perfumes dedicated to Antonio de Curtis and constitute an 'olfactory journey' into the most intimate memory of this illustrious figure, recognised and admired throughout the world.
Simona Scalella e Chiara Scalella of the Mansfield maison will tell “the scent of Totò”. Mansfield is a company that wants to give “olfactory emotions” enclosed in memory and ready to be rediscovered, as happened with the homage to the Prince of Laughter, Totò. In 2007, Mansfield recreated – sharing the development with Liliana de Curtis, daughter of Totò – the original fragrance worn by Prince Antonio de Curtis.
“I met Liliana in her beautiful Roman house – he says, excitedly, Max Scalella - and she showed me a small bottle containing the residue of a French fragrance used by her father. I asked to borrow it, I flew to France to have it analyzed by our master perfumers and we managed to recreate the fragrance of the great Totò. When Liliana smelled that fragrance, she was moved and said to me "today dad is here with us!". It was one of the most emotional moments of my professional life and a confirmation of the power of perfume as a 'time machine' and a journey into sentimental memory".
