In execution of a precautionary measure ordered by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate and by delegation of the District Attorney of the Republic of Naples, the State Police and the Carabinieri took action against 26 suspects.

The alleged existence of two distinct criminal associations with the aim of drug trafficking, monopolising the supply of the "drug dealing areas" in the “Salicelle” district and in the retail sale of drugs in the municipality of Afragola and surrounding areas.
The alleged availability of numerous firearms, including war weapons, among the suspects. The alleged implementation of extortion demands and armed robberies against entrepreneurs and traders in Afragola and Casoria.
The investigations revealed the continuous transformation of the criminal balance in the reference area, highlighting conflicts between various factions of the criminal group, territorial expression of the “Moccia” clan, sometimes allied and sometimes in conflict, also due to the frequent changes of regency within the association caused by the arrests.
