The wide-ranging checks carried out by the local police on the territory of arzano They are aimed at countering the phenomenon of illegal occupation of public land during the holiday season and beyond.
This activity represents a continuation of those already carried out for some time by the White Helmets led by Commander Biagio Chiariello, who are trying to put an end to the actions of some those who carelessly disregard the rules of the highway code.
The raids took place in some side streets of Via Napoli with investigations and fines against several traders who had placed displays on the street with disputes for over three thousand euros in violation of the highway code and an order for their removal which took place.
In one of these cases, the documents were found to be irregular and a man was reported for the crimes foreseen with referral to the Public Prosecutor's Office. Also in recent days, another episode of intolerance was recorded towards the local police personnel assigned to control the town hall in Piazza Cimmino.
A 50-year-old man, annoyed by the officer's unacceptable complaints, railed against one of the officers. The patrol car was alerted, and upon their arrival, the agitated man was reported for insulting a public official.
Meanwhile, checks continue with the issuing of fines for violations of the highway code, which in one week have led to around two hundred fines.
